Big Training Weekend: May 15th and 16th - Buckley Center at University of Portland

General Information
Once again, the Oregon referee Committee (ORC) is proud to present the hugely successful Big Training Weekend for soccer referees! There are 4 major clinics and courses that are going to be held during the 2010 Big Training Weekend: the Advanced Clinic, the Intermediate Clinic, the Bridge Course, and the Assignor Course as well as our individual class based sessions. There is something for every grade level of referee, from the first year referee all the way to our National referees.
Clinics, Courses, and a No-Host Social
The Advanced Clinic is only open to college referees and to USSF Grade 4,5, and 6 referees. If you are a Grade 7 Referee you must have completed the State Referee course to be eligible to attend. The Advanced Clinic takes four of the five time-slots - 10:00 AM through 4:00 PM and will be taught by Farhad Mansourian. Cost listed below.
The Intermediate Course is required to upgrade to Grade 7 and takes place on both Saturday and Sunday. For your Saturday classes, you can select five (5) of the INTERMEDIATE level sessions. On Sunday the Intermediate Course concludes with both classroom and on-field activities. On Sunday be sure to come dressed ready to referee. The fee for the Intermediate Clinic is $60.00. You may register for just the BTW with a $20.00 payment and if you later decide to take the Intermediate Course then you can pay the additional $40.00 on Saturday morning.
The Bridge Course promotes the Grade 9 "Recreational Referee" to the Grade 8 level. Registration fee for this class is $20.00; include exactly this amount with your registration. You do not pay the BTW registration fee, only the Bridge Course fee.
The Assignor Course accredits you to be a certified USSF assignor. Registration fee for this class is $50.00; include exactly this amount with your registration. You do not pay the BTW registration fee, only the Assignor Course fee.
Our General BTW Sessions include a list of various course spanning beginner level instruction to intermediate level, also various NFHS courses will be available that will count towards some High School Referee Associations credit hours, including MISOA. At the conclusion of Saturday's clinic there will be a No-Host Social with Farhad Mansourian, our featured presenter. If you would like to join us at this "no host" (i.e., you buy your own) social time please let us know so we can have appropriate provisions. To sign up for this event, check the bottom of the Saturday class schedule on the registration form.
Also, on Sunday there will be a joint Assessors, Instructors, and Assignor meeting that will be held from 9:00AM to 12:00PM.

Class and Clinic Cost Breakdowns:
Intermediate Course fee - $60.00
Bridge Course Registration fee - $20.00
Assignor course fee - $50.00
Advanced Clinic or General BTW Sessions (Saturday Only):
- Postmarked May 11th or earlier - $20
- Postmarked May 12th or later - $30
- You may register the day of the clinic - at the "late" fee of $30.00.
