SRA
The State Referee
Administrator is responsible for and oversees the USSF referee
program in Oregon. Primary duties include coordinating with the
OYSA and the
OASA, the SDI and the SDA and the USSF referee administrators.
The buck stops
with the SRA.
Patrick Duffy is the SRA.
He has been a grade 6 referee since 1996 and has
officiated over 2,100
games, including USSF, NISOA and high school. Pat is also
a State Assessor and an
Associate Instructor and was formerly the Chair of the
ORC Professionalism
Committee. He is a Local Chapter Assessor for NISOA
and, since 2005, has been
the State Soccer Rules Interpreter for the Oregon
Schools Activities
Association. Besides refereeing, Pat has played in both men's
and co-ed leagues and has
coached micro-soccer, recreational and classic
youth teams. He has
been President of the Westside Soccer Club, Westside
Metros Soccer Club and
Tualatin Hills Junior Soccer League, and has served two
years on the Oregon Youth
Soccer Association's board of directors. His
daughter, Marlene Duffy,
is a FIFA Assistant Referee and a NISOA National
Referee in Cal South.

The Assistant State
Referee Administrator assists the SRA and becomes acting
SRA when the SRA is unavailable. In addition the Assistant SRA
may take on
special projects as assigned by the SRA.
