ON FIELD: The on-field training will take place at Capital Futbol Club field (5201 State St, Salem, OR 97317) on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
VIRTUAL: The virtual session will take place via Zoom on Sunday, August 14th, 2022 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The link to the Zoom will be sent out prior to the course. Please email Jamie and Paige with any questions at info@oregonreferee.com.
Recently US Soccer has changed its approach to teaching and evaluating referees. Formerly experienced referees could certify as either a teacher (instructor) or an evaluator (assessor), but US Soccer has recognized and embraced the concept of “coaches” which combine both skill sets to help build skills within the referee community.
